Drawing Fundamentals - 10 weeks

Drawing Fundamentals - 10 weeks

This class helps students develop an understanding of the fundamental drawing concepts of construction, proportion, and form. Our focus for Fall 2019 will mainly be on the human body and face.

Through step-by-step demonstrations and then more self-directed exercises using reference models, we’ll study human anatomy and arrive at a better understanding of how to draw human figures in various poses.

The goal of the class isn’t to draw in a realistic style, but to create believable-looking characters that can be adapted to illustration, comics, or animation.

This is a great choice for students who want to strengthen their drawing skills, while still having the freedom to explore their own art styles.
