Learn the basics of using watercolour paint in this class. This is a small group class for adults (maximum 6 people per class). Any skill level welcome!

This course covers watercolour painting techniques for illustration. Participants will learn to bring their drawings to life with a better understanding of colour, contrast, and form. They will also gain familiarity with the watercolour medium.

We will do some studies and observational work, as well as more stylized and expressive pieces. Students are encouraged to strengthen their painting skills, and given freedom to explore the styles and subjects that they are interested in.

Instructor Divya George is a professional illustrator with an MA in illustration. She has illustrated picture books, packaging, posters, wall murals, and children’s apparel.
